“FOCAL POINTS IN FRANCE - ARTFUL PRACTICES THAT BRING MORE PEACE”

My husband, writer Ronald Steed, and I have published a book together that we began during a month-long art residency at Chateau Orquevaux in July of 2022. It is ‘Focal Points in France - Artful Practices that Bring More Peace’. We hope to evoke many peaceful practices, one focal point at a time. Each point will have a watercolor painting by Roxanne; a haiku and meditation written by Ron - centered on a peace-practice that can be tried.

Here is our initial draft we’ve been editing - we are so excited to bring this into the world and share it with you!!

These are paintings, poems, and meditations inspired by the environment around us, not a scholarly treatment about non-violent resistance, rather a breathing in of the spirit that others might share. Our hope is that other artists, whatever their medium, might find a new purpose behind their work; the setting-loose of peace into the world.

To make sure you get first notice of our book signings, and art shows with this collection of work; please make sure to leave your email address so that we can let you know all the latest!
