Immersing oneself in the forest and soaking in all the atmosphere through the senses. This phrase comes from the Japanese words shinrin yoku, good for your mental and physical health….but we already know that, right? It’s become especially clear during the year 2020 of enduring a pandemic. The forest is a ‘safe place to escape to. Beautiful refuge, I am forever grateful for these spaces.

This 6”x8”x1” watercolor painting is mounted on a museum quality panel and elegantly framed in a gold minimalist style floater frame.
